About Cille Choirill

The hill where St. Cairell had his cell is named after him in Gaelic, Cille Choirill, and is about 2km from Roy Bridge. It is very sacred to the people, and has a 15th century church in his honour and an ancient burial ground.

More information about Cille Choirill can be found at the site www.gaeldom.com under the section about Blessed Mary MacKillop.
